Or perhaps that is QoL improvement that you must buy in a DLC - you know, just like the Historical Dynasty Shield DLC in CK2 - a game about Historical dynasties. Ive done my best to find historically accurate designs, however if I couldnt find anything I simply went with historically authentic. Maybe, Paradox will be able to fix the random crest generator at that point. Adds more interesting and more accurate coats of arms to various European dynasties and titles as well as a few more accurate names and a couple of new coat of arms designs. Paradox will, throughout the next decade perhaps manage to finish the game, perfectly balance it through DLC's and surely do so without making that patchwork of a DLC mess that EUIV has turned into where one bug stops the other starts. But remember that Paradox is a tiny developer who doesn't have the resources to put a 'early access' sign on it.īut! But, don't worry. You can even play a much more boring version of Feudalism with clan system! What's not to like?Īnd yeah, they didn't call it early access, which is what the game was and still is. It allows the player to create a ruler with customized: coat of arms, dynasty name, attributes and traits. Hey hey hey! Don't criticize them so much! It's not like they've had years of development, only to reverse right back to a pre-conclave DLC version of CK2! At least we have India, Africa, the Steppes and the Norse at start, and they totally feel unique all of them. The Ruler Designer is a minor DLC for Crusader Kings II, released on the 17th of April 2012 alongside patch 1.05.
